Intermediate Student brings honour to COSIS
Muhammad Naqeeb Azam s/o Muhammad Azam, a talented and promising Intermediate student Of College of Sharia & Islamic Studies (COSIS) has scored first position in Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Lahore in the annual Higher Secondary School Examination 2017. Muhammad Naqeeb Azam has obtained 992 marks and won a Gold Medal in Humanities Group.
Minhajians Parliament Meeting 2017
The 26th meeting of Minhajians Parliament consisting of over 500 professionals and experts who are graduates of the Minhaj University and rendering services in different walks of life was held with Abul Hassan Al-Azhari in the chair. The chief highlight of the meeting was the keynote address by MQI President Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri from Australia.
‘Sama‘ & prayer’ ceremony marks 66th birthday of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri
On the occasion of the 66th birthday of the MQI founding leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, a ‘Sama‘ & prayer’ ceremony was held under the banner of Minhajians on February 19 at the central secretariat. Internationally known Qawwal Mehr Ali and Sher Ali along with their band members gave a wonderful performance.

A meeting of Minhaj Parliament was held in the central secretariat in Model Town on August 14, 2016. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri presided over the session, whereas Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri was the guest of honour on the occasion. The meeting was attended by graduates of the Minhaj University from 1991 to 2016 sessions.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri grieved over death of Abid Tahiri
Muhammad Abid Tahiri Minhajian, graduate of Minhaj University and an active worker of MQI, passed away after a short illness. The deceased belonged to Qamar Mishani area of Mianwali district. He rendered his services in MSM and central secretariat besides getting his 7-year education from the College of Sharia and Islamic Sciences Lahore. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow over the death of Muhammad Abid Tahiri.
5th Convocation of Jamia Islamia Minhaj-ul-Quran held
The fifth Convocation of Jamia Islamia Minhaj-ul-Quran was held at the Aiwan-e-Iqbal in Lahore on December 27, 2015. Shaykh-ul-Jamia Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri presided over the ceremony. 360 students were awarded degrees in the Convocation. Addressing the participants of the Convocation, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said
that character and knowledge are our identity. He said that teaching is neither a profession nor a business.

A farewell ceremony was held in the honour of Allama Sadiq Qureshi, vice Principal of College of Shariah (Minhaj University Lahore) on December. The ceremony was attended by Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of MQI Supreme Council, and teachers of the College. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Hassan appreciated the services of Allama Sadiq Qureshi. He gave him the title of ‘Global Ambassador of MQI’. Allama was also given a gold medal in recognition of his services.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of Supreme Council and Minhajians, has inaugurated a new website of graduates of Minhaj University Lahore and College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences (COSIS) by the name of www.Minhajians.org in a ceremony held at the central secretariat on March 30. He congratulated the team of Minhaj Internet Bureau on designing the Minhajians’ website in accordance with international standards.
Expressing his views in the meeting, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri welcomed the establishment of Federal Minhajians Forum. He said that he was immensely pleased to see graduates of Minhaj University rendering their services in various walks of life. He said that the influence of good company a student had during his formative phase stayed with him throughout his life. He said that Minhajians would be front runners during the revolutionary phase of MQI as its time came. He said that Minhaj University had a respectable and distinguished name in the private sector universities of the country.
